If you want to mount and install your volume controls perfectly, you need to refer to the procedure mentioned below:
Step I:
Ceiling Speaker Mount
Make sure the extra wires can be easily back-feed into the walls. You may need to shorten the wires by moving or replacing the wire labels, if there are too much of wires.
Step II:
If the wires are not labeled properly you need to give attention to the wire which will g to the speaker and the wire which will go to the amplifier. You can use a battery to check which wire will feed your speakers. Connect the negative conductor with the negative terminal of the battery and positive conductor with the positive terminal f the battery, if the speakers make a crackling sound it means you have identified the wire which will feed the speakers.
Step III:
Make sure that you have connected the wires properly. If the wires are not connected properly then it may damage your amplifier. So make sure that wire that lead back to the amplifier must be connected to the terminal which is labeled as amplifier and wire that lead back to the speaker must be connected to the terminal which is labeled as speaker.
Step IV:
Fix the volume control into the wall. Once you make sure that the control is in place, attach it with the help of long screws which are there in connector bag. Small screws will securely lock the volume control and plate to the wall.
Now you can adjust the loudness of the music according to your choice.
